2.1VessRAID1000fSeries

Thestoragesystemshallfeaturethesupportoffile‐basednetworkattachedstorage(NAS)

withadvancedvideodataprotectionfunctions.Theplatformshall:

a. SupportSMB,CIFS,NFS,andFTPfilesharingprotocolsonthestandardnetwork.

b. Includedatabackupserviceforuserstoperformabox‐to‐boxstoragevolume

replicationtoaremotesitethroughwirednetwork.

c. Allowuserstocreateamaximumsizeofstoragevolumeupto16TB,andtotal32

storagevolumespersystem.

d. Offer64concurrentsessionswhenstoragecontrolleruses1GBmemory,and128

concurrentsessionswhenusing2GBmemory.

e. ProvidesupportofMicrosoftActiveDirectoryService sthatenablesadministratorsto

easilyassignpolicies,deploysoftware,andapplycriticalupdatestoaninstallation.

f. Includeaneasy ‐to‐usemanagementsoftwareagentthatallowsadministratorsto

backup/restoredata,scheduleroutinetasks,defineuseraccesspermissionlevels,

managesharefolders,andautoallocatenewstorageplatformsforusewithout

manualIPsetupconfiguration.

2.2VessRAID1000iSeries
